How has your sleep been during the warmer summer weather? Sleep matters big time, and without enough sleep, you create an uphill battle in many different ways.
Sleep and weight are closely related. If you’re not getting enough sleep on a regular basis, you’re setting yourself up to be hungrier, eat more, weigh more, and have a harder time losing weight.
Lack of sleep also messes with stress hormones, and stress messes with your sleep. It’s a vicious circle and a particularly good reason why it’s so important to take the time to unwind before going to bed.
