National Hugging day.
We all need a hug, even the dog.
Hugs release oxytocin. What does oxytocin do? (all my baby massage students know this one)
It can reduce stress and anxiety
It can improve mood
It can strengthen relationships
It can improve immune function
It can reduce inflammation
It can improve wound healing
It can lessen cravings for drugs, alcohol, and sweets
It can lower heart rate
So all in all hugs are good for you 😍
