Hello I’m Karen, an award winning, Registered Nurse, Complementary Therapist and health coach with over 30 years of experience.

For the past 10 years I have been combining my therapies together, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Nutritional Therapy, Homeopathy and health coaching to provide all my clients with the most holistic and individualised care that they require to achieve the best health that they can.

If you are fed up with not being listened to or would like a more holistic overview of your health please drop me a message or book in for a session.

If you are on a journey to parenthood, you are in safe hands as I have wealth of experience and knowledge to support individuals and couples wishing to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy so that you can fulfil your dreams of becoming parents.

In the past 10 years I have carried out advanced training in fertility reflexology and a Mastership in Fertility Nutrition allowing me to specialise in this area.  I now combine my therapies and coaching in the Moonbeam® Holistic Fertility Method offering a unique bespoke service.

Wonky hormones?

Then I also work with you. There is usually an underlying reason for wonky hormones and we need to get to the bottom of it, it’s a bit like being a detective to find out what’s happening with your hormones, they can often be balanced with diet, lifestyle and therapies.

You shouldn’t have to live with PMS, heavy and/or painful periods. For far too long women’s health issues have been swept under the carpet as if they don’t matter or need attention and we have put up with it, not anymore, I am here to help you balance those hormones and live the life you want to. It shouldn’t take years to get a diagnosis.

Test Don’t Guess

I have access to comprehensive tests that can help give us clues to what is going on in your body, these tests range from hormone blood and urine tests that the NHS don’t carry out to microbiome testing (gut, vaginal, urinary, oral).

My complementary therapy journey

My 30 plus years journey started with an aromatherapy night class in Edinburgh in the early 90’s and progressed over the years to where I am now.

For 13 years my journey included working for Midlothian Sure Start as their complementary therapist and healthy living coordinator. My biggest achievement was leading, developing delivering the award winning project ‘A Good Start’, an early intervention programme that combined baby massage, weaning, play, baby brain development and baby first aid.

In 2008 Midlothian Sure Start won the Prince of Wales Integrated Health Care Award, which I was part of the leading team.

I have also been featured in my professional journals and in mainstream media.

Continued Professional Development

Professional Development (CPD) has always played an important part in my learning journey. I carry out over 100 hours of extra learning per year across all subjects to ensure I can provide the best care possible for my clients. It’s a never-ending journey…
