💤 If sleep feels like a nightly battle……
🥺Racing thoughts, broken nights or waking already exhausted, you’re not alone.
More importantly, nothing is “wrong” with you. Sleep issues are often a sign that your body and nervous system need the right kind of support.
I’m Karen, a Registered Nurse, Integrative Medicine Practitioner and Health Coach, with a Mastership in Fertility & Hormones.
I specialise in using integrative, personalised medicine that combines multiple therapeutic methods to help you transition from experiencing poor sleep to better sleep.
We all know how important sleep is. But what happens if we don't get enough and how do we fix it?
To finally get some strategies come along to my ‘Improve Your Sleep Quality’ live expert session on Monday 26th January at 8pm.
I will be sharing an actionable, holistic session that brings together science-backed sleep hygiene with gentle complementary therapies.
🛌We’ll explore how your routines, environment, nutrition, movement, and nervous system all influence your sleep, and how small, supportive changes can make a big difference.
This isn’t about forcing sleep or following rigid rules. It’s about learning how to work with your body so rest becomes something you look forward to again.
🧚♀️If you prefer natural approaches to wellbeing and want tools you can start using straight away, this session is for you.

On this winters day, its lovely to sit have some veg from the garden. The last of the tomatoes and some carrots now the ground isn't frozen!
All to go with freshly made bread and home made lentil soup with a chicken bone broth base.
At this time of year with all the bugs going around its important to feed the body well. Adding some fresh fruit and veg as a side is a great way to increase your daily fruit and veg intake as well as addung more fibre to help keep you regular. (Your microbiomes will thank you).
Did you know that the governments recommendation of 5 fruit and veg a day is not enough for best health? It was set at that level as they thought people might achieve that but wouldn't feel so bad if they didn't!
The recommended portions of fruit and veg per day should be between 8 and 10...more veg than fruit as a 3 to 1 ratio.
Go on add a extra amount of veg on your dinner tonight and any other meal you can.

What a joyful end to my first week back at work. Dinner out with this lovely crew at Threebirds Edinburgh. Jonathan Ramsay, Mel Brown, Barbara Scott and everyone from Institut Marques.
One day of first aid training, 12 clients, 7 loads of work washing, one day of a light dusting of snow. And a few hundred emails to clear.
Yes I love my job and I'm very lucky to work with such lovely clients and colleagues.
